Westbrook Winery

Westbrook is one of New Zealand’s oldest and most respected boutique wineries with a well-established reputation for producing award-winning wines. Our skilled winemakers combine traditional techniques with new innovations resulting in iconic hand-crafted wines such as our signature Chardonnays and Rieslings.

Just a short drive from Auckland, the vineyard is nestled in the picturesque Ararimu Valley, Waimauku – a Māori word which is literally translated as wai: stream and mauku: varieties of small ferns. The valley has a microclimate all of it’s own; the wai (water) is pure and plentiful, the soil special and unique to the location and highly conducive to growing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Malbec grapes. Grapes are also sourced from Marlborough and Hawkes Bay.

Our Cellar Door looks down over tree lined terraces and across the pretty brook-fed lily pond to the vineyard. We welcome you to visit us and enjoy a guided tasting with our friendly and knowledgeable team.
